Making a simple but an exciting game is truly a challenge. Recently, I heard about a fantastic game in the making which is sure to excite the gamers. World Beater is an adventurous game about a camel finding its oasis in the middle of the blistering desert. Let’s go through the exciting features of this thrilling game.

Gameplay

The gameplay takes us in the beautiful deserts filled with towering pyramids, sprawling cities and historical monuments. The exciting running game is about a fast paced camel looking to find the oasis. The camel is faced with various obstacles and hindrances while trying to run to find water which is the final destination of its journey.

The camel has to drink loads of water while running to gain the energy to travel the distance and to race ahead all the obstacles. More water the camel drinks, more it has the energy to fight with obstacles. It is truly an excellent running game, which allows players to sit back, relax and enjoy this thrilling and challenging play.

Obstacles

The game features loads of obstacles to prevent the camel from finishing its journey. The game has wild cactuses, vultures, poisonous snakes, quick sands, tornadoes and poisoned barrels to create obstructions in the camel’s journey. The player has to wisely use camel’s powers to avoid the obstacles which can take its life.

Powers

The game is loaded with many powers to help the players in successfully completing the journey. Interesting powers like wings and genie are bestowed on players to help them tread the camel on the spirited journey.  Wings help the players to jump the camel over the long obstacles like a bunch of cactuses or long stretched quick sands. The wings are strategically located over the obstacles, so the players have to wisely maneuver their moves to collect them. In addition to this, player also gets a very generous genie who bequeaths one extra life to the players in case the player loses the life. As it is such an important power, player has to cleverly run to obtain it.

Energy

Now as the camel is running in the scorching heat, combating with all the obstacles, it needs loads of water to keep running. Now if the energy level decreases, the camel is not able to run further and player’s life is automatically ended. While running, the players get loads of water barrels to quench their thirst and keep the camel running.  The energy meter dictates how much time the camel has left.

Milestones

The game has challenging milestones to achieve. The entire game is divided into 3 interesting milestones called City, The monuments and finally the Oasis. As the player completes each milestone, the game gets even more challenging and difficult. The number of obstacles increases and so does the speed of the camel. This in turn, becomes more exciting for the players to reach the final destination.

Controls

The game uses iPhone’s magnificent system to give super controls to the game. Gyroscope is used to change the direction of the camel while swipe controls are used to jump over the obstacles.

Graphics and sounds

The game features astounding graphics and virtual effects to the make the game lively and exciting. The catchy music inspired from the Arabic world truly captivates the aura of the desert. The artwork is amazing giving a fun side to game while capturing the theme of the desert.
