Recently, while surfing the app stores for finding a thrilling game, I came across World Beater and downloaded it in the spur of the moment. I’m Glad I did because the game instantly got me addicted to its unique storyline, laudable graphics and simple-to-play controls.

The game is centered on a camel’s journey across blistering Sahara desert, to find its lush-green oasis that will forever quench his thirst. What makes this game exciting is its unique gameplay. Unlike other running games World Beater is not about endless running on given tracks, it has a refreshing destination for us to reach. The game is spread across three logical milestones scattered throughout the game for us to accomplish. The final milestone, the ‘Oasis,’ marks the end of camel’s desert travel and gives us a sense of achievement when we finally complete the challenge.

What makes the game even more attractive is its beautiful artwork and graphics which makes for a visual treat.The game perfectly imitates the scorching Sahara desert and is represented creatively in the overall game design. The whole game is centered on a camel that has to make a dangerous journey across the desert to reach the lush green oasis. The camel has to successfully complete 3 milestones - the monuments, the city and finally reach the oasis. All along the journey the camel has to overcome life-threatening challenges and race to the finish.

The game has several twists that challenge you to triumph over them. The introductory video and route map gives you a clear picture of the desert.  The camel, named ‘Captain Camelot’  is our lead character and is a world beater desert runner.  It endures a perilous journey through the harsh and scorching hot desert. You have to guide the running camel to dodge obstacles and collect water barrels to help sustain him through the journey. Once the camel starts running, it does not stop; the player has to navigate and direct the camel as it sets out on this highly dangerous journey. The camel has to negotiate several winding pathways and avoid stepping on obstacles like cacti, snakes and quicksand.

Usually most games you spot on the app store have lovely illustrations and descriptions, and World Beater is no exception.  This one too had all the glossy images and catchy lines, but what really makes this game worth downloading is the gameplay.  Every word in the description holds true. World Beater will have you running through the dessert and dodging obstacles for hours to come. A true entertainer, this game is simply a winner.
